Day 19 Franz Josef

Today is a rest day. Our leaders take us in the van up to the start of the walk to the glacier. We walk the 45 minutes up to the closest you can get to the glacier. It has started to rain but we still get some great views of the glacier and many waterfalls. ! We visited the Wildlife Centre to see two of the rarest Kiwi birds and learn more about Glaciers.
